We strive to make exchanges and offer returns or refunds whenever appropriate. However, if a product is returned with NO FAULT FOUND, the warranty or consumer guarantee claim may be refused, and you may incur a service charge plus additional shipping charges. Squid Ink Rubber Stamps authorised service centres may also charge fees for inspections and rejections of products. All products delivered as stated and in full compliance of Australian Consumer Law may be returned to you after you pay Squid Ink Rubber Stamps an additional fee to cover these costs.
What are the eligibility requirements for returns, refunds, and warranty or consumer guarantee claims?
Most manufacturers list minimum warranty terms of 12 months.
However, the ACL provides consumer guarantees including that goods will be of acceptable quality (i.e. fit for purpose, acceptable in appearance and finish, free from defects, safe and durable). The duration of the statutory guarantees will vary and depends on a number of factors including the nature and price of the goods.
The ACL overrides any claims made by manufacturers in regards to warranties in Australia. We will comply with Australian law in all circumstances and no wording on our website is intended to subvert Australian law.
Eligibility for returns, refunds, and other claims require the circumstances listed below:
- Proof of purchase from squidinkstamps.com.au.
- Willingness to work with Squid Ink Rubber Stamps to reach a satisfactory outcome for both parties.
- Satisfactory reporting of your issue to Squid Ink Rubber Stamps, including the nature of the fault and how it occurred.
- Use of product only in an expected and intended manner. Some use may void all warranties and guarantees.

Manufacturer Warranties
Consumers must comply with the following guidelines before requesting manufacturer's warranty response, as they can render the warranty void:
- Product was never used incorrectly or in a way that is not supported by the intentions of the manufacturer.
- Product was not lost, stolen, thrown away, or destroyed. The manufacturer requires proof that the product did not perform its intended purpose properly and that it existed in the first place.
- Product's value has not been diminished by customer's treatment or delay in requesting warranty response from the manufacturer. All faults or poor performance must be reported to the manufacturer and Squid Ink Rubber Stamps as soon as possible after the occurrence.
Squid Ink Rubber Stamps does not represent or lay claim to any manufacturer, production company, or service centre. Customer complaints, questions, and claims must be directed to the manufacturer or their associated customer care department and not Squid Ink Rubber Stamps alone. This includes technical support, repair assistance, and all manufacturer warrantee or guarantee claims. Manufacturer's service centre may assist customers free of charge or with a service fee charged. Any tech support or other ticket numbers assigned to a customer's case may be shared between the manufacturer and the Squid Ink Rubber Stamps customer care team.
All warranty claims must come from the customer. The Privacy Act in Australia prevents retail or wholesale companies like Squid Ink Rubber Stamps from filing warranty claims on behalf of any customers.
Manufacturers may facilitate warranty claims directly or instruct a customer to return the product to Squid Ink Rubber Stamps.
Attention: Individual manufacturers have varying policies and practices concerning their warranties and guarantees. Squid Ink Rubber Stamps holds no responsibility or specific information about them, their processing methods, or estimated time frames for return, refund, or warrantee compliance. Only when a manufacturer provides information to us can we extend that information directly to our consumers.
Squid Ink Rubber Stamps holds the right to charge service fees in conjunction with shipping, warranty claim fees, or other service fees incurred during the processing of manufacturer's warranty claims. This extends to any fees or charges incurred for product returns that do not comply with the manufacturer's warranty criteria and in cases of expired warranties, returns with no manufacturer fault found, or for damaged or destroyed products.
